And I increased my workout to counterbalance what I thought would be my inevitable increased eating but my eating stayed the same and I actually lost 6 lbs. I just chew a lot of gum and jerk off more.

Hmm

That means you have only not smoked for 4 days. If you have 1 cigarette you're back at square one. Gotta train your mind to think like that for discipline sake.

I have been declining the amount I smoke since last year. I was down to less than 10 a day before I actually made my doctor's appointment. Within the two months I spent waiting for that appointment, I smoked no more than 3 a day. They already tasted shitty to me when I began the meds. I was smoking because I HAD to at that point. So I am thinking that was the best way to go for me. I have been puffing for 25 years. Puffing a pack a day or more since I was about 10 or 11. Anyway, I am on the way to being cured. I hope you are having luck with your fight, Jay.

He put you on Wellbutrin, didn't he?

That explains a lot.

I've been smoking since I was 12 so that's 12 years. I have all the addiction traits of physical, mental and chemical addiction. The chemical part just meant dealing with the withdrawal, which isn't that bad. The physical addiction is the hand to mouth motion. That can be solved with gum, candy, cock, whatever. Mental addicition is the stress management, thinking about it, breaking your routines. Just have a hobby or something you can play wth handy. For me I just start playing games on my cell phone when the crave hits.

Yes, Mar. I also have patches and am getting a nicotine inhaler on Monday. This is the hardest thing I have ever done.

It is really hard to find something todo with the time you would be smoking. In fact, Virra smoked so much before, (he and I are BOTH quitting...) and now he is always complaining that he is bored. I have just been watching a lot of tv and sucking down juice everytime I need a smoke. The freshness of the juice seems to comfort me. I think it might be becauce my mind knows that juice is healthy and would rather think about stretching and stuff than smoking. It's working for me.

I am still weak at times. I sometimes even tear up. Sometimes...I just imagine myself standing in a recording studio recording a cd full of old ass country music and I become strong again.

What movie was that where men went hunting and then all died but two of them and then the one guy (one of the baldwins, I think.. ) told the other guy (who was played by anthony hopkins) that he was there to kill him so he could have his wife and then they fought and then the baldwin fell into the trap and diedded...then anthony hopkins handed his slut wife the guy's watch...

In that movie, Anthony Hokins said,"What one man can do, another man can do."

Juice isnt all that healthy for you though. If's full of carbs which turns to sugar, plus it doesnt have the other vitamins that you would get from eating the actual fruit.
Iced tea or iced water would be much better, it's still cool and it doesnt build up the amount of sugar in your body. It also wont rot your teeth.

H20... i'd say go for ice water... but does it help to quit smoking?

No. But if you use a straw about the width of a cigarette, that might help a little bit too.
She just said that the juice was cooling and calming and she drank it when she wanted to smoke. I know I wanted to smoke a lot when I quit so drinking *that* much juice isnt good for you.

The one thing you have to realize, is nothing helps all that much. Chew as much gum, drink as much water as you want, for that first month youre going to want to smoke no matter what you do. Just have to be miserable and power through it to the other side!

I get an upset stomach after two glasses of juice, anyway. So yes, I drink a lot of water and hot tea.

It's crazy. Since I quit smoking, I don't need caffiene. Weird, huh? I spose not..but still. I don't even WANT caff anymore...

I dont either. I quit drinking cokes around the time I stopped smoking. It was odd. I do drink a fuckton of water though.

Dude, on top of wanting to smoke for 5 months now, I've got the Pregnant Bitch attitude as well. If I'm not murdered, you should be fine hehe.

Thankfully I only have 2 months left, maybe my moods will even back out. I'm even annoying myself.
