Taxx's real name is Tucker.

As of right now, we arae sticking with Jackson Cole.

Tucker Cole is too country for me...add to that, when my aunts and cousins would say it, it would make my skin crawl. Think of a really drawn U when they say Tucker. Yuck.

I think Tucker is a lame name. I'm not bashing on Taxx... I just hate that name. Sounds like a total mama's-boy wuss name.

Both sound very southern but Jackson Cole sounds more movie starish.. lol

My name choices IF I ever get to have kids:
Boy - Ari Ethan or Ezra Matthew
Girl - Mia Rachel or Lia Sara

If I ever have kids, the only pre-conception about names I have is that my firstborn son has to have the middle name of Michael, as it's something of a family tradition.

I'm 1/8 danish, which means 1 of my great-grandparents was a full Dane. His family actually had a tradition, the first-born son was always named Canute Michael. Given the way they did last names, where your last name was based on your parents' name (Andersen = Son of Ander, Johnson = Son of John, Maryadottir = Daughter of Marya, etc.). So, the 1st born son was always Canute Michael Canutesen. This went on for a number of generations, I think my great grandfather was Canute Michael Canutesen the 12th.

He broke the tradition, and named his firstborn son Robert. However, my grandmother (who was the firstborn in the family, Robert was like the 3rd child) revived part of it, and named my dad Dean Michael. My dad carried it on, and I'm Kevin Michael. So, my firstborn son will have to have Michael as a middle name.

Cole is a family name. All the names I've given to my kids are family names.

Hailey - Helen, not really family(Gids stepmom who I adore), but we let her think we named her after her
Elizabeth - Betsey, his moms name.

Jackson - Jack, his dads name
Cole - Cole, My papa's and my dad's middle name. Really naming him after my papa though, since my dads still alive.

I was already named loosely after my mom, Dawn - Donna, so we have her covered already.

If, IFIFIF I ever have another kid, I might come up with an original, non family name. But I think I'm done at 2.

I thought I was done at 2, also. Just don't wait to get Gid snipped until after this one is born or you might have a third surprise.
