I concur. SOME episodes were relatively funny, but for the most part - Seinfield was "that" type of show where once you've seen one episode, you've seen them all - the same thing week in and week out.

slave trade was not just done for the US...and slaves were treated differently in different places as well

our slaves were treated as less than human...they didn't even have rights to their own children

If you wish to get technical, african empires sold slaves to the US, and the rest of the world for that matter - they should be paying any restitution if any.

Here's a little TRUE history for you. At the end of the Civil War - 90+ % of the freed slaves STAYED with their previous "owners" to work the SAME plantations and fields. Only this time it was for a "pay check." The horror stories you have heard about in high school history were actually few.

As for paying people today (who weren't even alive 200+ years ago)... people like you, obviously completely clueless, are scary. In case you haven't noticed... blacks have MORE options for advancement than any other minority group. THEY are the ones who choose to ignore those options and take the easier route of selling drugs / committing other crimes - then blaming the oppressive white man for their ills.

I am not going to argue with you, I just refuse to have my taxes go to more people that already abuse the system -

I can site 8 or 9 people off the top of my head that I manage at work, all of which get well over 6grand a month because they keep having babies and live in section 6 housing. I could probally think of more if i considered our overnight crew here. All of which plan on having more kids so they get more money.

My taxes already pay enough for their abuse of the system. Until I see a resolution that doesn't just leach off taxes so people can get free cash ( IE: World Trade center Claims ) I am 100% against it.

Hypotheticaly - If there was a reperation that didn't involve the ones already abusing the system getting a dime I would be all for it.

But frankly, this is a different time and age, most of which could care less about civil rights and what people had to go through until they need to pull the race card out ( at least in my experience - which in this area is mainly a negative one ). This is a world where you make your own future and your own life. being Young and black doesnt mean you have to be stupid and a thug, there are millions of chances to make ones life count with out the US govt paying for it, just because.

Now i am half asleep and was about to go to bed, so this maybe a stupid question, How good were records kept during slave days, How do you know Mr. Joe standing in line is actually Kunta Quinta (sp) great great great great grandson? Should we just give ALL black people 40 acres and a mule, or should we dump more money from our taxes into research of geneology of young black americans. And at what point do we stop, should we go find all japanese people and give them the same for mistreatment by a goverment? Should we give all of a wican religion a couple g's for witch burnings and what not?

Instead of giving them the cash in hand how about giving them more chances to succeed from a younger age, better schooling ( security, teachers, classroom items such as computers, ect ), maybe even *gasp* programs for youth and teens with in the inner cities. I would much rather see any sort of reperation given out be one that actually helps them as a whole - rather than buying the new Jay Z album and a pair or jeans.

It's their own fault they live in shitholes. Noone is twisting their arms to stay in that tax bracket either. They could go get jobs instead of collecting government money (OH IRONY, eh Taxx?). But they dont because they have it in their head that noone will give them a chance because they are black, when that isnt the truth. We HAVE to give them chances due to the crappy equal opportunity and race quotas.

I now what you are saying and I understand. But I think it would be easier to spot a slave descendant than you think in this country.

I dont remember the actual number, tho I remember it being high the amount of false claims, and the amount of false claims paid out to people claiming to be WTC victims was outlandish and that was something that probably was already stored with in an Excell file that they could have verified, but yet we paid out alot of cash to people undeserving that we could have checked on with probaly a couple mouse clicks.

I realize that there are dishonest people out there. But how can it really go wrong? We are talking about slaves here. We aren't talking about some group that can't easily be spotted. These people have been a part of our country since we ordered them from the slave traders to begin with.

There has to be some way. There has to be a way to make things right. Things aren't going to get better as long as everyone keeps pretending that nothing ever happened. Of course people are still angry! There hasn't been anything done about it!

secondly..you should probably know that you can't receive aid for newborns..only the children you have when you first applied..also, 3x what they spend on welfare is spent on defense..so what are you worried about?
