Taxx as a warrior I agree with you about ranged dps having an upperhand, but if you bring a pocket healer with you into AV, it more than makes up for all the times your solo. One pimped out warrior and priest can change the whole outcome of the BG, and its a blast.
And the sooner you drop the mindset of comparing everything you do in WoW to everything you do in EQ, the sooner you'll enjoy the game. Play WoW for what it is. And if your the hardcore MMOer, just don't be dissapointed in 6-8 months when you've seen everything the game has to offer and your sitting around Org chatting with friends as you look for something to do, only to realize theres nothing left to do
Currently ingame, very much so. As for the beta, i'm hearing mixed opinions with the rage normalization nerf. Once the good raid gear gets rolling in, I'm sure they will be more than fine all over again.
Now with both sides having windfury, it's gonna be kinda scary
I'm looking forward to horde players trying out paladins cause of the impressions of uberness, trying to level one up, only to realize what us paladins have known all along: that the class is (pre-expansion anyway), insanely boring, with only 1 real raid role, and that's to toss out blessings while you play whack-a-mole with health bars in CT RaidAssist.
That said, I will still laugh out loud in amusement the first time I run into a horde paladin in a BG.
Burgy, I've been in the top end horde guild on our server basically since day 1. I like raiding, it doesn't get boring to me.
Arlos, nobody denied that paladins are boring, but to say they aren't unbalanced is crazy. I can't wait to be able to have all the paladin blessings on me. BoK alone is better than anything we have.

i might play wow..might not..doesn't really offer too much..kinda wishing i had been working on unsane at this time...getting her to 75 and all..i have a few characters that need to lvl on eq..don't think i am going to have any time for wow..may buy a trial here and there to hang out!
Heh I stopped playing EQ after ykesha. When i quit i had invested like 500k platinum on my monk in new ornate gear and staff of flowing water etc. I went back like a month ago and my gear was fucking horrible compared to a lvl 50....(I was 55). The extreme gayness of the gear is what drove me away. Wtf do they have now anyway? Wep with 102dmg 200hp 20 to every stat?
Weaps are more like 100/35 ratios with 350+ hp and 40 to every stat.
Mudflation got out of hand in EQ which keeps me from getting interested again. I suppose that's inevitable in any MMO that lasts more than 2-3 years though.
