I went against the treadmill because it had nothing to offer me. I was far too young to know it was a treadmill at the time. Doesn't mean it was any less of a wise choice on my part however.
My teachers and counselors agreed with the decision wholeheartedly and actually presented the idea to me personally.

They didn't have me teaching Visual Basic because they didn't want me there. The only member of the faculty that didn't like me was the principal that took over from the one who retired.
