Who the fuck is saying an alcoholic isn't an addict? Anyone? Anyone?.
absolutely no one is saying that, nice work reading the thread you dipshit
all I said was that alcoholics and people hooked on stuff like prozak somehow avoid the moniker of junkie
that's it, that's all, but maybe you can find one of your friends to explain what I'm saying to you, since you're too stupid to understand
no they arent called Junkie they are called Alcoholics. same issue different term

that was my whole point......
there's a different connotation to the word junkie (opposed to alcoholic)
so, what were you arguing about again?

apparently you missed what i said. my point was that just because they are prescription and are being taken as prescribed does not preclude addiction.

well no shit sherlock
no one is saying that
let me try one last time
people who are addicted to alcohol/percocet/prozac/whatever are somehow spared from being called junkies
this does not appy to people using prescribed medicines as prescribed

Nope, I still call anyone abusing oxycontin (or snorting them, dissolving them and shooting up, putting them up their ass, etc.) percocet, vicodin, codeine, etc. junkies.
In fact, I don't know what else you would call an addict on painkillers or prescribed drugs other than a junkie.

Who exactly do you know that has been guzzling prozacs? Do you even know what antidepressants do and how they work?
I normally don't insult people here, but you're being really fucking stupid in saying this.

My father is an epileptic. He is also a hardcore pharmaceutical addict. The pills needed to treat his epilepsy are highly narcotic and highly addictive. Doctors and pharmaceutical companies create many, many addicts each day. It's how they stay in business and rake in massive profits.
"Here, take this pill and this one and this one... every day, twice a day, for the rest of your life!"
