You can play devil's advocate without being a asshole. Zanchief goes out of his way to start shit. thats the issue. not him having an opposite opinion. There is nothing wrong with taking another position, thou zanchief rarely has anything to back up his own position, except twisting around what is being said. I have had plenty of discussions with people that have opposing viewpoints without them acting like a pathetic board troll.

Funny you should say that because I don't think you've ever had an argument that wasn't made of confetti. Anytime anyone contradicts anything you say, you fly into an irrational frenzy and attack them personally because you're unable to defend yourself. I have never seen one picture of, say, Eisenhower in civilian garb with a US flag lapel pin. It certainly was not part of his everyday attire and accoutrements. You going to call him unpatriotic because he didn't wear one?

To even attempt to conflate wearing a lapel pin when running for president to raising a flag by troops in the middle of a battle over a newly conquered major objective is ludicrous to the point of absolute absurdity. Last I checked, there were no material requirements involved in loving ones country and being patriotic. Faddish jewelry is not, nor should it ever be anything resembling a requirement. What's next, a requirement to wear stars & stripes underoos? Please.
