dude, if you don't go a judge can then lock you up for contempt. and they do send the letters certified. it said right on mine a warrant would be issued and i could be subject to arrest and fines if i don't show up and don't contact them.


but anyway just go get it over with.

they don't have you sign for a jury duty notice... i got one, forgot about it, didn't go, and have dealt with the police without any word about warrants out for my arrest. :dunno:

Because certified mail means you sign the thing to receive it. No court ever has sent a jury duty summons via certified mail.

Throw the shit away if you don't want to go.

ha if i were that judge i would've made him bring his dog to court and count the wrinkles on its balls

...and then excused him from jury duty
