Desperate are the people who pay 100 bucks or whatever cash they have on them to get out. Nothing wrong with being desperate when your lookin at getting stuck for god knows how long

And yes, people who drive around in little cars while living in an area that has 3-4 months of the year of rough winter and big storms like this, and god knows how many little ones that are enough to make the roads bad, numerous times, every single year, are idiots. If youre going to live and work in an area that has them, prepare for it. And dont go on with the "but some people cant afford it durr" because the area I made that money in was the wealthier area, the people in lexus' and mercedes and nicer vehicles live on that side of town, but they choose to be luxurious and trendy rather than smart. And the people I know that really havent been able to afford another vehicle are at least smart enough to not drive in it, theyll find a ride or whatever it takes. The rednecks they poke fun at the rest of the year in their old pickups are the ones they are bowing to and giving all their money to in the winter time. Funny how peoples attitudes change so quickly

Yeah but that's 3-4 months out of the year you get to laugh at them and 8-9 months out of the year they get to laugh at you. I'd say they win according to the scoring there.

I've learned a very important thing while living up here already: all those guys with snowplows bolted to the front of their trucks for 6 months of the year? Guardian angels. Every one of them.
