You're not listening. "Mountains of statistical evidence" covers multiple breeds of dogs commonly referred to as pits. "Pit bull" is not actually a breed unless you're specifically referring to the American Pit Bull Terrier, which is not the only dog referred to in your stats.

Thugs want pit bulls because they look intimidating and they have a history of being used as fighting dogs, and ghetto asses love making money off of the suffering of animals.. but there's a reason that they were used for that, and it's not because of mythical jaw strength and lockjaw or made up figures on PSI. They're easily trained, they trust their owners, they're loyal, and they're dedicated to whatever they're asked to do. They're capable of being vicious no more than another easily trained and devoted dog is.

German shepherds are used as cop dogs because they can be trained as people aggressive when it's deemed necessary. Pits were not bred as people aggressive. So since german shepherds are capable of being vicious (again because they have similar trainability and loyalty to that of the pit bull) and especially towards humans, do you want to cull that population too? How about other herding dogs that have been known to nip at kids trying to herd them? All other breeds of bull dogs that have ancestry that has been used for the same purpose as pits? Hunting breeds because they instinctly have high prey drive? Hell, lets get rid of all dogs. Because there's not a single breed out there that doesn't have a trait that can be manipulated and used for violence.

I don't see the point in arguing with you. Pit bull attacks are more vicious then normal attack (fact based on statistics). Pit bull attacks are more common then any other attack (fact based on evidence). There isn't anything else left to talk about. THe stats could account for global conspiracies, bad owners, lack of knowledge by journalists, and still be overwhelming in the favor of pit bulls are fucking dangerous.
