Does Mop like that hair?
Sorry, Stayce but that's hideous, ugly, and unfeminine.
I'm a fan of girls with long hair. Short hair is usually ugly and masculine.

He said he liked my hair after I cut it short in those pictures he posted of me. I liked it so that is what counts. I wanted something trendy but functional that would be quick to style. With my texture hair - super wavy curly.. it is near impossible to have long hair and have it functional in the summer. You can't have just any style.. you need to work with what you have.
I've tried long hair most of my life... PROOF
This is my hair long and curly in the summer humidity.. granted it was the 80's and NJ at the beatch so that makes it worse and fugly..
this is from undergrad.. just gel and go.. wavy but again unmanageable
BLECH! Short on some women is just better and more practical. Guys don't understand. I personally like short straight hair in modern style cuts over long wavy hair. If I could have long straight shiny hair I would like that the best but then Dana and I would have to put up with my doing my hair for three hours.
I wish..

No way. I hate short hair on women. The few who look better should be married off so they do not spread the evilness of short dude hair on chicks.
Thx Mop

That girl you posted is built like a man, bleh.
She would be hot if she wasn't.

short hair is so hot on some girls, I think Stacy's cut with the red highlights are the best pics I've ever seen of her.
My hair is really thick, and if I wear it short it's just too much, we'd have to thin half of it so I wouldn't have an A-shaped head.
I just got mine cut and styled, and got some blonde/red highlights put in, I'll take pics later when scott gets home and post them if you want to see mine, if it gives any ideas. I don't ever know what to do with my own hair really so I let my girl do it, she's awesome.
One great tip I can give, the more money you pay, the better your hair will look. That's one thing I have learned over the years, you pay for what you get in this respect. Find the best person you can to do your hair.

Ok I am just a guy see but a friend was talking about ironing her hair, she had some device that looked like it would have gone well in a medieval torture chamber, but she swore it was wonderful and I must admit it made her hair strait and rather pretty. It seems to me that this would be damaging as hell to your hair, but what do I know? Is this a possibility for you Stacy? Is it too damaging or does it not last long enough to be worth the trouble?

It is called a flat iron. I have one. It takes even longer than using a round brush and a hair dryer. It is really easy to burn yourself on it too. I have not used it in ages but maybe I will pull it out and give it a try again. Still a pain in the ass to fuss with it. Ok for special occasions but not every day. If Im not in the gym every day its not too bad cause I can straighten it one day and I am ok not washing it for 2-3 days. However, I have to wash it every day when I get back to the gym again which will be happening 4-6 weeks from now when I am all recovered from my surgery this Tuesday. I'll keep letting it grow and see what happens. It isn't like I can cut it for another month anyway while since I will be recovering. It is already shoulder length now. I'm sure I will get sick of it though. One bonus of having long hair is that you can put it up in the gym. I'm kinda tired of the bandanna and baseball hat look. I'm serious about the long hair extensions too. I bet Dana would kill me though for spending that much money though.

Does your hair grow a noticable amount in a month? I am a hairy freakin Dago, and mine only grows about an inch or so a month
How much do extensions cost? I had a friend college that got extensions for a halloween costume once. He always had magnificent halloween costumes and would save for months to make sure every detail was perfect. But he was military reserves or something and kept a "high and tight" normally. He dressed as Bram Stoker's Dracula
<img src="http://www.namelesstavern.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=533">
and so he got extensions (wig just wouldn't due), he wore it for like a week before and a week after until he had to report back to the base. it was very cool, but now I wonder how much he probably spent on that doo.
edit: I keep finding myself coming back to this thread just to look at those pics of that weightlifter chick with the hair that Stacy posted...

lmao.. I think the weightlifter chick is HAWT!! I know I am in the miniority here. I just really appreciated what goes into creating a body like that in the gym.

I use a straight iron on my hair, and while I think it makes it look beautiful, it is a pain in the ass, especially with thick hair. I never blow dry my hair, Im too lazy.

I use a flat iron when I go out. It doesnt take too long because I am not anal about it. Maybe 20 minutes for thick, wavy shoulder length hair.
I find that the shorter I cut it, the less I care about how it looks. So I think I will grow it out a bit more (even though I am shedding like a dog in summer...there is hair EVERYWHERE) and see how I like it.
I agree with...whoever it was. She looks manish, I dont like THAT much definition on girls.

not to bump this thread, but I was curious as to where you ladies buy your BioSilk from - I'd like to get it online, but don't know what site to go to O.o
I know, I know "GOOGLE IT DUMBASS" but then I have to sort through a bunch of sites that I don't want to

We don't have a Sally's out here =( I miss it terribly
Also.. what product should I use? Biosilk makes so much stuff.. a little on my hair type.. it's coarse, baby fine, but LOTS of it so it gets tangled very easily. Shiny smooth and manageable is what I'm after. 9 times out of 10 it looks like I stuck my finger in a bug zapper

Short hair on a chick is hit or miss. It either looks good, or it doesn't. Kinda like Redheads (hot or not - never an in between).
I've seem some damn fine women with short hair and some that I thought looked like a dude.

I like short hair on some women but it doesn't always work for everybody.
