Things I have learned from watching the news on TV during the last eight days:

The hurricane only hit black families' property.

New Orleans was devastated and no other city was affected by the hurricane.

Mississippi is reported to have a tree blown down.

New Orleans has no white people.

The hurricane blew a limb off a tree in the yard of an Alabama resident.

When you are hungry after a hurricane, steal a big screen TV.

The hurricane did 23 billion dollars in improvements to New Orleans: now the city is welfare, looters and gang free and they are in your city.

White folks don't make good news stories.

Don't give thanks to the thousands that came to help rescue you, instead bitch because the government hasn't given you a debit card yet.

Only black family members got separated in the hurricane rescue efforts.

Ignore warnings to evacuate and the white folks will come get you and give you money for being stupid.

I feel so sorry for all those black folks.
The only way it could have been worse was to be white.

According to any channel on the shitbox television, being white means you are the butt of every joke. The "dumb" guy in all of the commericals. God forbid they show a black guy not understanding computer viruses, etc. The rules are, 1) Put blacks in your commercials, and 2)Make them cool-something that everyone should aspire to be or be with.

Remember the dumb white cop on Sanford and Son? That is how we are being portrayed now in the commercial industry. Them homies get all spend-happy when they see Tyrone gettin one over on the white man.

Wanna piss off mommy and daddy? Don't date the motorcycle guy--go make out with the sleaziest black hood rat you can find that wants a white trophy-at intervals of-oh say every 5 seconds as you walk through a public place.

Ever notice that R+B is like Country music minus the steel guitar but add the bass? basically the same. Girl doing him wrong, etc etc...

I was reading though Ebony magazine yesterday while waiting for a coffee. Interesting fact, not every picture in the magazine is of black people. If their are any articles referring to criminal activity, the criminals are always pictured as white people. Not sure if it's the same for other black publications. I'll check it out in: Jet, Black Enterprise, American Legacy, Black Issues Book Review, Black Men, Essence, about...time, The Urban Network, Black Living, The Black E.O.E. Journal, Sister 2 Sister and The Black Collegian magazines.

Sanford and Son was hilarious though. They get a pass for that one.
