I'll agree to a point, the first week or two, when they are just starting to poop, and that sticky black tar comes out, it is kinda rotten and tough to clean up, otherwise it really isn't that bad.
Congratz by the way, my 'lil man just hit 3 months now, loads of fun once they learn to sleep through most of the night.

Just wait until they shit so much it is EVERYWHERE, not in some clean little pile in the back of the diaper.

Well, I hope you have shitty diapers like my daughters. Not EVERYWHERE as Harrison says. It only gets runny if she has too much juice.

1st time my little guy had a sleep over and grandma and grandpa's was hilarious
they laid him down on the bed, took his diaper off (it was just wet) and as soon as grandpa reached over to get the powder, he shit so hard, it flew across the room, and splattered against the wall
good times (only cause it was their bedroom, and not my house =P)

My son did the exact same thing to me when he was 3 months old. Shot straight across the changing table, hit the wall, and left yellow goo everywhere.

I will be a daddy in Feb.
I just found out last monday that it will be a boy!
Make sure you go to the ultrasound with your wife. It was the most amazing thing to see my baby in there kicking and moving around.

This happened to my daughter a couple a times before we figured out she was lactose-intolerant. Since I was breastfeeding any milk products I ingested went to her poor tummy. Listening to your infant scream bloody murder for a couple hours because they are in pain and then cleaning up a mess like that is very good incentive to remember the lactaid pills.
