Never had this problem on my old PC before so not sure how to fix it.

When I right click on an image or try to "Save" an image, it only allows me to save it as a bmp. How do I tell windows to allow it to be saved as a jpg as well if I want it to be?

Thanks in advance.

that happens when you have run out of room in that temp folder. not sure exactly why.

someone on a higher nerd plateau than myself could probably explain better.

:dunno:

Windows has a thing about storing images in cache as bmp's. If your cache is full, it doesn't have the space to convert it into a jpg file. Always thought it was funny that it could make the room for the awfully sized bmp's but when you want something different that wouldn't use a fraction of the space it plays dumb. Guess the only really good expliation is,

Its Windows

If you have a decent connection you could set your cache at 0 and remove the problem completely.
