So your roommate asks you to do some of their laundry with yours. You find a $100 bill in the wash, and you know it isn't yours. What do you do?

Give it back to them. There's a chance he/she may be testing your honesty.

That wouldn't be a good test, because they do not know if I have $100 bills in my pockets as well.

Give it to your roomate. You know who's it is and that makes it theft if you keep it. Besides consider that it might be a test by your roomate to see what kind of person you are. Where a roomate is concerned a hundred dollars isn't much to lose to find out you can't trust them.

I would go with what others are saying, they may be trying to test you. I would love to have an extra hundred dollars, but your roommate will notice it is missing eventually, even if they are not testing you.

It doesn't matter if it's a test or not. If you take it knowing it's not yours and knowing with near certainty it is thiers then it's theft.

Fuck them. I know enough to clean my pockets out cause if my old lady finds a quarter or a hundy in my jeans when she's doing laundry, it's hers.

That's your wife though, not a roommate.. you share everything.

With a roommate.. return it. The only reason I wouldn't is if there was shady behavior on their part.. and you wouldn't want them taking your money. Treat them as you would want to be treated.

Oh it was, I did do some of the laundry when they asked and told them if I found $100 it was mine. She laughed and said it definetly wouldn't be hers.

I had some pizza earlier..it was the shizzle my nizzle..dripping with cheese and pizza sauce, it came in a white box with some hot wings and cheese balls and bread sticks and umm tacos!(and some wild cheery pepsi!) My kids like food also...so sometimes I give it to them.

Put it on the cabinet in the laundry room, dont tell and leave it for a week, if it is gone, thats that. If not, it's yours.

With my old roomates we had a deal. If it goes through the wash, someone else finds it its theirs. Deffinatly taught me to clean out my pockets beforehand.

What i would do is ask your roomate(s) if they had lost any money. If they say it was a 100 bill...give it back. If they say i might have lost a 20....fuck em its yours. If they dont know they have the bill......then they dont deserve to have it.

if they owe you money keep the money then later on say "Ya know..its the christmas season..why not forget about the money you owe me."
