Panda Time

Had this picture in my email from the Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ)
Baby panda was born in July. National Zoo Director John Berry announced today that his name is Tai Shan, which means “peaceful mountain” in Chinese.

There's this annoying girl on my WoW Server who claims her nickname is "Panda" so everytime she logs in, instead of everyone saying Hey (insert name with tons of A's and e's and L's) they say "omgz hey Panda" or something.. I hate girls who give themselves nicknames.

Oh, I wasn't defending her, I don't even know her. Just being funny, I guess. I am sick and running on no sleep in the past three days, so it sounded funny to me at the time. I could care less who dubbed her Panda, as long as you call me Goddess.

My friend calls herself a Goddess. She named her cat Goddess. Her self given nickname is a song lyric, but I dont think I'll say it, as she used to play on Nameless and I dont want anyone to know that I am talking about them. She needs to come to my girl's birthday party

I hate any self-given nickname and refuse to call anyone a nickname that I didn't give them. it's so stupid. unless you've always known them by that name, it's retarded.
I'll break it down in case anybody's lost.
I have friends that go by these names, they've been called these names since childhood and/or every person I've ever heard address this person uses this name. always.
-sugar-my brother's best friend
-crack-friend, has nothing to do with the drug btw
-binny-childhood nickname, who knows
-tookie-same (my grandmother)
-helmet-that's how I was introduced
and so on...you get it.
I meet someone and noone refers to them as their so called "nick-name" but somehow they manage to keep it around long enough for other people to think someone must have given this name to this person. when in fact, they don't really have a nickname, cause noone gave them one and they need to stop it already.
