i never asked and for this i suck. I wanted to but i was afriad.

he served in 3 wars..

i will miss him..not for what he was in "worlds eye"
the man could make a mean breakfast.

my grandfather was a man who never spoke of feelings.
i will miss him, he was stoic.

Dont know if you care or whatever. but please say a word for Mr. Ed Watts . 3 time war vet & will be put to rest on a navel ship..

Sorry to hear about your loss. It might be interesting to ask his family and friends for a story or two.

Sorry dude. People close to you dying is the worst thing about life. Only thing I can say is take this as a lesson, and learn to be closer with the rest of your family.

Monday was 1 year since my grandmother passed. I was close to her, but still feel cheated, I should have been able to spend more time with her. Mortality is lame. Oh well, she made it to 89, and I got 10 more years with her than I did with my mom.

Mother, her mother, her father, all died in October. Bad month for my family. I better watch it when Im older.

Sorry to hear that Mojo :(
May his soul be at peace, and may his journeys have only begun.

This is awesome advice. I wish I could have had more time to know my grandfathers as well.

My heart goes out to you, man. Sounds like he was the epitome of the American Hero icon.

Sorry to hear this Mojo, I have to say it makes me want to go hug my grandfather and try to get to know him more. He is a very distant man, I don't want to lose him and feel that I didn't try to get through to him enough, so thats, this gave me a wake up.

My great grandfather is still alive. He's a badass too for a 90 year old. He sunk many a german u-boat and is also really high up in the mason's.

The mason's are basically like that movie the skulls except the skulls are the mason's little bitch-boys and shit and fetch the mason's scotch and use the skulls at footrests and what not. I wish I was in a secret society so I could bend the world to my will all from the shadows while wearing a neat costume like batman.
