I agree with that, however I haven't found one as reliable as Lime. Also, none of my spyware detectors or virus scanners find anything wrong with it. Well, the Yahoo anti-spy does but Spybot S+D doesn't and neither does Adaware.
I like it since I can actually find shit quickly. I was using WinMX but that has become a steaming pile of shit too.

I'm sure you are aware the WinMX host servers were taken down, have you been able to get WinMx going since? There is a way to do so.

All I know is every fuckin time I tried to find anything the closest I could get was number 100 in a line of 101 people to get something. I realize it's probably a lie, as I'm pretty damn sure there wasn't 100 people seeking "Sugar Baby" by Doc Boggs.

It wouldn't be 100 people seeking a particualr file, it would be that 100 people were already downloading some file on that machine, and it was limited to so many connections at a time. You can view the number of current connections to any machine that comes up in your search, so you can see which have the least connected users, and download from that one.

Yeah well the difference between waiting 24 hours for a simple damn 80 year old song on winmx and 10 seconds on limewire makes me very willing to use it even if it had spyware and a nasty virus embedded to boot.

Here's what's awesome about Canada
Here's it's perfectly legal to go to the library, request any dvd/cd, take it hope, and rip/copy it
If they don't have the item I want, they'll buy it, or borrow it for me from another library somewhere

If anyone is interested let me know I'll post how to do it.
PS. I'm fucking serious.

i use emule because you can download pretty much album in .rar format and then virus scan the compressed folder before extracting the .mp3's. also almost no viruses or corrupted files on ed2k servers (Kad servers are another story)

Tyrone only charges 10 bucks to ransack the local record store here.
Seriously, I just recently got EMule and this shit looks complicated. I took Met's advice and didn't enable kad, but damn the rest of this shit is like the SNL farce of the Bloomberg channel. "Now let's see a picture of the Terminator robot..that's cool"
I picked some razorback server because I figured more users=more files=faster downloads. I searched, I found, I tried to download and it's sitting there on 0 bytes with supposedly twenty-two sources. All it says is "Waiting".
durr wut da fuck is an innernet?
Edit: A download finally started..slow but at least something started.
Edit II: This shit blows. I'll take the spyware over this "old people fucking" program.
