I was gone for a week in Arizona at the MABL (mens amatuer baseball league) World Series. Its the biggest amatuer league in the world for baseball and my team won the World Series!!!! Just thought i would share

I hit .490 for the series with 2 homeruns, 10 RBI's, 4 SB, and 9 Runs scored in 8 games.

Chances are No Kizzy. I was part of the Oakland Athletics farm system for a short time, but then i broke my leg right before spring training and got dropped from my contract.
3 surgeries and a bunch of hardware in my ankle later, very few teams would take a chance on me. Especially at 26. I still do tryouts for Organizations, in the off chance that one would take someone with a history with injuries

Unfortuanatly all major league associations have full access to all personal and medical histories, and you have to pass a full physical before signing a contract. They would find out one way or another. The large scar that runs from my foot to halfway up my right leg would give it away also

That really sucks. What if you were a better player than some that already play? They should give you a chance, and somehow put a clause in about your pre existing injury.

The problem is nobody gets signed directly into a Major league contract (actually only a handfull of players have never played in the minors)
Major league clubs will only sign to minor league contracts and then you have to work your way up through the system. Unfortuanatly because there are thousands of players looking to go through the system the chances are slim to none that they will take their chances on a 26 year old, with a thrice repaired right ankle and leg.
They would rather invest in someone that may have alittle less talent, 8 years younger, and injury free.
