Guy in our guild from San Antonio kept going on and on about the skill of the Mavs and how they are truly going to be the team to beat this year. I said 2 words. LeBron James, and he didn't speak to me for the rest of the night. :dunno:

I know you are probably going to get 100 exact copies of this e-mail, but how can Dallas be below San Antonio and Detroit when they soundly handled both of them? Even though both games were in Dallas and even though the Spurs and Pistons were finishing back-to-backs, Dallas didn't give either team much of a chance. Maybe it is just wishful thinking, but I think the Mavs deserve a little more respect. Especially from you, Stein!

Nah we had a good game plan for Dirk in the 1st half that didn't work out so great int he second. You guys are really missing Josh though.

Consistency and Endurance. That is the key to the Mavs. Its the key to the Spurs. I would love to see Dallas and San Antonio go down to game 7 of the Western Conference finals. That would be a great series.

Of course, the Spurs would finish on top. But then again, Im from San Antonio, and own a half season pack. Going to Lakers Game tonite.
