Bledsoe got killed behind their line, and they needed a younger more mobile QB, enter JP Losman (he is having some growing pains this year obviously). Can't wait til next weekend Diekan.

Losman is a bust this year. Bledsoe did decent last year for them, and they've definitely downgraded at QB.

It's a shame too. With Bledsoe they probably win the division, since New England is ass this year.

Well yeah, Losman doesn't have much experience and behind a shitty line he isn't doing so swift. Bledsoe was old and wouldn't do much better. They are preparing for the future by giving Losman some experience and playing time.

Well, they're looking at the SB, and they don't/didn't believe that Runsloe could have or would have gotten them there.

They thought that bringing Losman in would eventually get them there.

Bledsoe is doing well at Dallas, but that's ONLY because he's got a much better O-line protecting him. He's old, he's slow, he's not mobile - he can pass, but only if he has a lot of time.

I don't think it was a bad decision to cut him, but I'm not impressed at all with Losman. Despite him being a young QB with little experience - I did expect a better performance from him overall.

Bledsoe is big, strong, difficult to sack, has a cannon arm, and reads D's well. He does have a propensity to make the bone headed throw, but every aggressive QB does. He is also very slow, but again he's a pocket passer.

Losman has a weaker arm, is easier to tackle, but gives a bit of mobility.
For a Dome team, Losman would be ok, but for an outdoors balanced attack I think Buffalo were fools to get rid of Bledsoe. The Northeastern outdoor teams thrive on eating QBs like Losman alive.

If you watched the Bills play you would know that Bledsoe sucked in their system. He was tortured behind their shitty line.

Just after one game? Did you see the other game which he played in? He didn't fair too well...I am not saying Gus is better, but it is hard to tell because Sage has had limited playing time.

The bills might have been better with Bledsoe, but he's beyond the years where he could lead a team to big things. Look at the Dallas vs. NY game. Fucked up several early passes, and didn't protect the football on NY's defensive touchdown. If it wasn't for Bledsoe, Dallas would have probably won that game.

I have a love hate relationship with him. He's better than anything we've had since Aikman retired, but when Quincy Carter or Testaverde are the top contenders for second runner up - it doesn't take much.

I was a fan of Bledsoe as a kid with NE for 9 years. I know what Bledsoe is.

Bledsoe, for some reason, has never fully realized the potential he showed in his 2nd year when he had his breakout season. Since then, he's had about 3 'good' seasons. The rest have been mediocre at best.

Bledsoe continuously makes the same mistakes. He throws into double and triple coverage. He sits in the pocket far too long and gets sacked/fumbles. He has poor accuracy on touch throws.

All these things could have been fixed way back when, but weren't. It's not a coincidence that everywhere Bledsoe plays, people say: "If only he had a better o-line....."

Breaking news, every time Bledsoe joins a team, his o-line is now worse. Every time Bledsoe leaves, the o-line is now better. Bledsoe sits in the pocket with this quasi-toughguy mentality well beyond the 2.5 to 3 seconds that is the maximum you can ask an o-line to keep NFL d-lines and blitzes off you. But it gets better: even with taking all this time, if he does get immaculate protection, he STILL makes stupid mistakes like throwing into double and triple coverage (see: yesterday). This is the cycle of doom that Bledsoe brings. He can put up pro bowl numbers one game, and Joe Namath numbers the next. He's terribly inconsistent, and in turn makes his team so.

Bledsoe is like Kerry Collins. If you rush 5-6 people and play bump and run coverage, they're helpless.

Actually - it's the center's fault for the busted play. However, Bledsoe didn't have to try and make a shitty hand off with a guy yanking on his arm either. He should have just taken the sack.

Well I'll not claim to be as wise as some of the NFL's head coaches - but - there's a reason the Patriots sacked Bledsoe and went with Brady... actually THREE good reasons. I'm actually quite suprised at Dallas' record this year. I'm almost amazed they have a winning record with Runslow at the helm...

But, in all fairness to Runslow I wonder how good ole Wonder Boy Manning would be behind a Bills' line... I wonder if he'd be 12 and 0...

A great QB lifts everyone around them. A great example is how good Philly looks with Mcnabb and how bad they look tonight without him.
