Notre Dame overated?

Is Notre Dame overated? Everyone is talking like they are best Irish team ever. They only beat 3 teams with winning record and two of those are Bringham Young and Navy. Now they most likely will get a BCS bowl bid which probably will screw Ohio State, Oregon, or Auburn. I think those three school is way better than the Irish.

At the beginning of the year, they had the hardest schedule in the country on paper. As the year played out it ended up being mediocre at best.
Overrated? Nah, they have the offense to stay in the game vs. anyone. Defensively though they'll give up too many points to win against a top 10 team in the bowl.
I don't think they deserve to go any more than OSU, Oregon, Auburn. But they certainly don't deserve to go any less, and the national appeal puts them over the top.

Not only no, but Hell no.
Are they a better team than OSU? I'd love to see them play OSU in the Fiesta to find out. Oregon and Auburn are overrated. ND would stomp either of those teams on a neutral field right now,

I believe ND is overrated. I also think we need to see what UCLA does this weekend against USC. That may change everything if UCLA pulls the upset. USC's D sucks.

If almosts mattered the standings would be a lot different.
ND was a play away in two games to being undefeated, and beating the #1 team in the country.
This is just another example of why we need a playoff system, and to lose the frickin BCS

They would have beat USC if it wasn't for that shitty call in the last 2 seconds of the game.

OK that was just stupid after seeing the final score. Damn and I wanted the BCS to blow up this year. It's gotta happen sooner or later.

It happens almost every year, this year was the exception not the rule.
