Thought about getting it for the kids for Christmas but then realized we were kidding ourselves...it would be for us.
Edit: to put in the right pic

Young kids seem to love those games still. I think I will be getting one for myself since I don't have little demons... I also intend to buy the new robosapien. Man that thing looks fucking cool. Toys blew ass when I was little.
The closest thing to any real fun involved my GI Joes, gasoline and power tools.

I loved the 2600. A close second favorite was the original 2XL (robot that was fed eight-tracks).

Coleco and Intellivision also have similar products out.

Sega has one also, not as old as the others, but it has Golden Axe and Altered Beast, two old ones that I loved.

It was only $25 (if I remember correctly). It looks like the old console, too, just doesn't have the slot for the cartidges.

That's the 7800 remake, not the 2600.

I bought that at Target yesterday on sale for $24.99. He still has his original Atari with all his games, but I thought it'd be cool. I'm turning our spare bedroom into a game room...even got him a new flat screen tv, dvd player, video rocker, posters, etc.

I'm pretty sure with a little searching you could find an original on eBay for dirt cheap.

Yeah, I'd stick to the original console. Keep it real, yo!

The Flashback2 is the 2600 version. The Flashback is the 7800 version. FWIW.

She changed the pic. The one that was originally up was the 7800.
