Yeah that does suck. Our "most fun" cellar flood moment was when our sump pump hose shot back into the cellar due to the sheer force of the water coming out of it, the furnace caught fire and blew out (the metal sides of it were found across the room on the wall, we have to break a window to start getting all the water and smoke out of the cellar, and my younger brother was throwing up the whole time due to a stomach bug.

Well, there was a funny moment. When everything was drained and I've got team redneck dry working on getting the water out of the finished basement, a big blue/green frog just comes cruising out and sits in the middle of where my pool table was before, checking everything out. Evidently he had decided my basement was home. For some reason, after the complete nightmare everything else was, that made me laugh.
On the ridiculous side, it costs an assload to have a company dry out ones basement. After checking out the bill, I think I'm in the wrong field.
My homeowners does cover some of it, but after my 500 deductible, which is something at least.

Yep, 'Jeremiah' is in an aquarium and is now part of the family.
