Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick was dismissed from the team Friday, the result of numerous legal transgressions and his unsportsmanlike conduct in the Toyota Gator Bowl.

Maybe he'll turn pro now.

after the play the lineman was on his stomach vick got up and looked down and stompped right on the guys h/s calf and walked off - the guy was out for a play or two no biggy but either way was one of the ugliest things i have seen. had I been on the other team I would have late hit him and taken the penalty - and would have made sure it hurt.

He does have a history. He got his license revoked for reckless driving + marijuana possession, if I remember right, and just recently got stopped for driving with a revoked license. He also has a previous conviction for serving alcohol to minors. He was on his last strike with the team, they'd warned him any more fuckups and he was gone, then he got that arrest for driving with revoked license + stomped on the guy who was down, and they dumped him.

I don't care how talented he is, he's not gonna go real early if he comes out. After examples like Leaf, Lawrence Phillips, etc. teams are WAY more reluctant to take on headcases these days, most especially given what happened with TO and the Eagles. SOMEONE will draft him, but bet it's not til Day 2.

Vick had no other choice but to declare for the draft....

All Star Cack Team - Deion Sanders, Marcus Vick, Terrell Owens, Randy MOss (though he has toned down this year), Micheal Irvin, Lawrence Taylor

Deion loves the limelight, but don't lump him with the rest of those fucking martians.

It's ok baby, I'll just move on to the next level

i am guessing he meant in the United States Criminal Justice System.... from a county or city jail to a bona fide State or Federal Prison

Someone is going to be willing to take a chance on him...he might not go the first day, but he will be drafted on the second day...look at Adrian McPhearson and Maurice Claurett...I don't know how he will do, though, since he has had very little college playing time. But who knows.

Hell, look at Lawrence Phillips, who arguably had a worse college off-field record and was taken what was it, 7th overall?

Of course, given how spectacular a failure that was, with not even Dick Vermeil able to reach him, and his subsequent utter flameouts everywhere he went, even the CFL, I think people are going to be one hell of a lot more reluctant to do any such thing in the future.
