Highly recommend this 27" widescreen by viewsonic. It is by far the best purcahse I ever made for my computer. It has totally changed video games 100% and more. +the picture is insane. +really really good price.

my friend's father in law who is a very wealthy scientist/researcher, has one of those, he can keep three full web screens up at once, it is huge

Sure but the native res is so high you'll have to scale down anything to play on it In a couple years that won't be a problem though. My 17in LCD is awesome but a nice 21 - 27 would be sweet.

I'd personally be getting a 42" plasma & a 17-21" LCD dual monitor setup.
They look good folks.

I had a 21" crt, then switched to a 19" lcd
liked the lcd just as well, and LOVED the deskspace
then I got offered a deal on a pair of matched 17" lcds, and now that I've got dual monitor setup, I'll never go to anything else
the lcd's have dual input, so i can toggle to a diff't system if I like, it's pretty fricking sweet

dual monitor is really really handy. Once you've had it you'll miss it bigtime. I do
