It's funny considering how far left republicans have come in the last few decades. Who's extinct again?

On a sidenote, damn my local newspaper for not carrying Opus... I miss Bloom County.

I'll never forget when they gave Opus a rhinoplasty.

Bloom County is one of the consistently funniest comics ever... right up there with Calvin and Hobbes, even if you don't agree with the politics... it is still funny...

my brother got some of berkley breathed comic books form the 70's when i was in high school, i learned more about watergate from those comics than i ever did in school...

Bloom County *IS* the best comic strip in the history of time. Calvin & Hobbes is #2.

For christmas, I got a new compilation book from Burke Breathed, it has 20 years worth of selected sunday cartoons. First Bloom County, then Outland, and lastly from the new Opus series. Excellent book, and well worth it to any fan.

I like Dilbert a lot better than Bloom County

and oddly enough, now that I have a family of my own, "For Better or for Worse" suddenly got relevant and funny
