I worked at a Century 21 Office, I was a closing agent.

OWNED is right.

This is the slow time of year, so instead of paying me what little he pays me, he just laid me off. Its 1099 work, so I doubt I could get unemployment. Im fucked.

Outback Steakhouse? Doubtful. There are 62 restuaraunts in the area, I am sure I could get a job at one of those. I have some other issues going on right now, so I guess now is a good time to make a decision

Sorry to hear that. =(

The good news, though, is Wal-Mart is hiring! With your skills you could easilly start out at 40-50k plus bonuses. Not a lot, but hey it beats being broke.

There are a couple of HUGE call centers here that are literally always hiring, and let you work whatever hours you want, and pay 9.50 an hour. Nothing amazing, but good stopgap for emergencies. Maybe something like that around where you are is worth checking out as a bandaid job.

oh man so wrong

sorry to hear The Kizz.

IMO I would be a little worried about where the realtor career field is heading. I think things are going to go from bad to worse in that field with the pending demise of the real estate bubble.

I don't mean to rub salt in the wound so to speak but I would maybe consider some other type of work.

Any chance you could apply your loan skeelz at a car dealership?

I'm considering a few options right now, I won't have any defineite answers for a few weeks. I only have a couple of thousand saved, so I need to make that last.

The good news is the job market in this area is very good right now. Just real estate and construction is really slow.

Good luck, Kizz, and I hope something comes up soon.

You should do something sales related. Like comission sales. You seem the aggressive competitive type that would rake in the dough. My friend who works at the Cingular store right out of high school is making like 35-40k a year there.
