George C. Deutsch, the young presidential appointee at NASA who told public affairs workers to limit reporters' access to a top climate scientist and told a Web designer to add the word "theory" at every mention of the Big Bang, resigned yesterday, agency officials said.

...According to his résumé, Mr. Deutsch received a "Bachelor of Arts in journalism, Class of 2003."

If you listened to Bush's address, you would know that he clearly values science and math. As long as you arent studying :

water pollution
stem cells
the origin and history of the universe

global warming and greenhouse gasses

global warming is a joke.
a single volcano eruption puts more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere then what man has done in the last 100 years
last time i checked the big bang is a theory (like that matters anyway)

basically i agree that he needed to resign because the false info on his resume

ROAR SCIENCE SCARES ME!

i am not convinced of global warming at all

He should have been fired for lying on his resume, but stretching that to incompetence is a bit silly.
