Ok so I had a service call on a back round. I set off down the road to make it there I was doing about 10 miles under the speed limit since the road is notorious for amish.

Crest a hill and there is a amish buggy in the road (5miles per hour the fucker). I start passing the bastrard slowing to 40 miles an hour. He decides to make a left hand turn right in front of me. I lift the back of this assholes buggy onto my hood, tearing up my left front fender, and scaring the horse shittless which also lands on my fucking car when it bucks and runs.

Cop gives me a ticket for failure to yiled to a amish buggy, and this prick gets a ticket for failure to signal.

Since it is amish is automatically becomes my fault for most of it, but since he was sited it becomes a claim for bth of us.

I really hate the amish.

Anywho came back from 1 hour of having a cop go over the accident, and and accessing the damage. Fender is toast, the right front 1/4 panel is beat to shit...and there is a gouge done my hood and a busted windshield on the passenger side.

I decide to get back to work and someone comes in and wants to go over a new gaming system with me...I start talking and I guess the accident dmg'd my glasses cause in the middle of the coversation the frame pops the screw flies out and I shoot the damn lense at the customer.

Not a good day.

Least ya didnt kill em. cant really say lot bout the amish or what its like living near them cuz i really dont know. Not to many buggies riding round detroit.

The only thing that would make the amish a fairy tale versus a nightmare would be if at the end of the fairy tale hulk hogan swooped from the sky with a magical nightstick that automatically bashed amishes acrossed their grills in a vigorous smashing-fashion.

and an update...todate I almost ran over a Swartzentruben Amish man that pulled out in his horse and buggy right in front of my car.

Maybe I was put on this to put a end to the Amish...kinda like their version of their horseman of the Apocolypse. The car is already a pale color...perhaps Im the Horsemen Death and the car is my horse.

Sounds like you have no idea what the Amish are like. They'll turn left in front of you without notice (which is what happened with the buggy Kahar hit), block intersections, travel down the middle of highways when there is a designated lane for them, leave horse bombs everywhere so it costs 10x times it should for road repairs, travel at night without lights and less reflectors than your average tricycle, walk along the sides of roads in dark clothing, and they all seem to feel that normal road rules don't apply to them. I'm amazed there aren't more car/buggy accidents around here.
