I know theres alot of programs for this but really I hate McAffee and programs like that which just keep popping up telling you somethings wrong and can't fix it really making more trouble than they are worth.
Is there anything I can download real fast, clear off my viruses (viri?) and spyware then delete the program without a fuss?

AVG has a free version and is pretty much the best around. You might have to do some digging on their site to find the free version, but it is there.

When working for an ISP, whenever a customer called in complaining that their connection was suddenly gone. Our first question was always, do you use Norton? 9 out of 10 times, that was the cause.
