no, you have to be like br12, and have capped 5 core missions, AND have 75 kills in the core

at BR6 you can get 1 vehicle cert, and med armour IIRC
lightning tank ftw!

I really enjoyed planetside, but it bites without a regular squad on non-retards

what's cool is i found out if your char is younger than 7 days you can take certification points off at will, no limit to how many times you can respec. wasn't like that when i first started playing i don't think

Well I tried this game out but I'm getting a horrible stuttering during gameplay. It stutters every second but when it's not stuttering i'm getting 100+ FPS. It makes no sense. I have 1.5GB of Ram, Geforce 6800GS 256mb, Althon 2.5 GHZ cpu.

i noticed there was an option somewhere in video to automatically switch textures to low-rez ones if FPS drops below a certain limit. default was 60, i put it at 45. it might be that your comp is dipping under and over 60 FPS a lot as people get on screen and you turn/etc. so that it keeps switching textures, try setting it at 30 or 45 fps.

I'm about to give up on it. I can be staring at the ground and it stutters, it doesn't matter where I am. Between the every second stutters I'm posting 100+ fps.

If you're using the beta Nvidia oblivion drivers, I'd bet they're the cause of the stutter.

This is from a few days ago
While yes, the game is still playing like powerpoint I read somewhere that there was a new test server patch. With this I copied my PS folder blah blah blah and fired up the Test Server and what do you know, no stutter.
If that is a coming soon patch then it looks like our issues are over with, if not who's up a few round on the Test Server since the main servers are playing up

Sniping in this game is fucking unbelievably horrible in this game has to be the worst in a shooting game.

it was done purposely to keep faggots at bay
in beta, the dev basically said they did it they way they did it to keep the gimpy bunny hopping, head shot sniper CS guys from being able to unrealistically dominate the game
maybe if you had an xbox controller you could hit the broad side of a barn tho!
