Have any of you played it? IGN gave it a 7.6/10 because supposedly it doesn't scale in difficulty enough, but they said the storyline and worlds and what not were great. Tons of reader reviews said IGN was crazy for rating it that low and rated it 9-10.

I have only been able to play about an hour into it so far, but I like it. I do agree that it's a very easy game. Also, in typical Squaresoft fashion, there is a lot of cutscene time where you are just sitting there watching a 'movie' rather than playing the game. Nonetheless, it's still fun and I'd rate it 8.8/10.

Isn't this a children's game?

Depends on your tastes.. If this one really is as easy as everyone is saying then yeah they might be trying to target a younger base.. The first one was on par with most other Action RPG's in terms of difficulty though. The disney content alone would make it primarily a children's game, however, there's much more than that. I think the Disney content is pretty fun to revisit actually (the Pirates of the Caribbean and Aladdin worlds from screenshots of KH2 are almost enough to make me go buy it).

I'm one that likes to play through a good storyline more than anything else anyways (God of War omgz, you know they're making a sequel?!). FFVII was an easy game, but the story pulled you in.. Same with Chrono Trigger, Jade Empire, etc...

I saw the strategy guide in EB a couple days ago, it was like 8 thousand pages.

It's disney themed, but a quality action RPG nonetheless (the first one I mean). I'd buy this if I had a PS2.
