I really like the Spurs but I'm rooting for Sac just because the longer Artest is playing in high pressure games the greater the chance of him killing someone on the court.

I'm rooting for Sac because it'd be OH SO SWELL if San Antonio and Phoenix are both knocked out in the first round ^_^

Dallas could get a free ride to the finals if other teams keep doing their dirty work.

And the Detroit nutriders will say that too... and that'll fucking piss me off because fucking EVERY game in the East is a 'free ride' for Detroit... it's the fucking EASTERN CONFERENCE! Detroit is damn good, but they would NOT have won 64 games if they were in the west...

If Mavs end up in the finals because Phoenix and San Antonio get beat up so badly in the first round... people will fucking say that we didn't fucking earn this fucking trip and I will blow a fucking blood vessel.

Speaking of people freaking...

If Dallas beats Detroit, they'll have earned it.

Dallas will have earned it no matter what. Spurs aren't the power house they once were for the simple reason that they are getting really old. Every team is running now, and the spurs just can't keep up anymore. Duncan is still awesome but he just doesn't have it like he used to.

After watching the first few games of the playoffs, I'd think Dallas would be favored to go to the finals.

Only one problem for them, the one team that I think they match up worse with is Detroit.

Gonna be a great finals though.

Wouldn't it be grand if Detroit didnt make it to the finals?

I don't really see how.

The way Shaq has been playing I don't see anyone who could beat them. Maybe Chicago, but that's about it.

Yeah...
New Jersey has no real shot at Detroit
Milwaukee 'might' win another, but it'll still finish in 6.
Indiana, no way
Chicago couldn't possibly do it
Washington couldn't

Cleveland and Miami though... I don't see it happening but if any team represents the East other than Detroit, it'll be those two.

I kinda like Chicago as a dark horse. They defend really well and if they can get hot from 3 they could win a few games. They need a post scorer in the worst way though.

Chandler just went down though and might miss game 5.

Kings were paid to lose the game tonight. Maybe they felt sorry for SA. :mystery:

The Kings fired their coach, Adelman, today.

Total scapegoat situation because he was a damn good coach.

It's crazy how shitty coaches like Nate McMillan and Doc Rivers can keep employment after years of shitty performances while someone like Adleman can get fired after keeping a team afloat despite the best efforts from the management.

Ohhh maybe we can get Adleman in TO!

I think he'd like that too... most coaches like starting out with a young promising talent like Bosh. Can you imagine a coach turning down any vacancy in New Orleans, Cleveland or Miami right now? That has to be a lot of fun... to build around a guy like that. It's like Flip Saunders in 1996. It makes you wonder why the big name coaches always end up going to the project teams... like... wtf was L Brown thinking with the Thomas' assfucked Knicks?

Of course... there's always the rumor about Nellie in Toronto...

that'd be interesting =p
