Oblivion Question

Ok so I am looking online at it lists all these spells I should have with my conjuring skill, I only have summon skeleton. I am on the third rank, journeyman, I should be able to summon a bunch of armor and some pets.

Do I have to go and buy the new spells somewhere to learn them or do I have to see an NPC to get them in my book, because they are not showing up as I level up skill ranks.

Yes, you need to go to the various mages guilds to purchase the other spells. Each mages guild specializes in a certain school of magic so you'll want to go to Chorrol to buy Conjuring spells.

once you have a certain spell, like conjure skeleton, or bound sword, then you can make a custom version of it that lasts however long you want to make it.

but the spells won't show up in the list when making spells, untill you buy it from somewhere

You need to buy them from vendors.

To make it even worse, some of the vendors only sell the spells at certain times of the day.

Just look for the Buy Spell icon on mage guild peeps. And also can get some spells from Mystic Emporium and Discount Spells dude in Imperial City Market District.

I've been looking for a purchased spell list online for a while and am getting nowhere.

I'm trying to find an affordable stun or paralyse spell so I can tweak one of my own.

I was at a friend's house and we were watching the Sox game (we fucking shit on the yankees hardcore in the 8th inning)

He had Oblivion in the background and he summoned skeleton over and over until he maxed out conjuration, fucking genius.

Not really. Although it might be uselful to have his skill "maxed" (although I doubt he did it in two hours) it's not really in his best interest to do that.

He might need those skill ups later for his attribute modifiers.

check the imperial town, the discount spell vendor, you might be able to find what you want there. I think he has some low level summons for sale

I can't decide which character I want to play, I started a thief and a mage messing around with both. The thief is really fun when it comes to hiding in places and sniping the shit out of things, but I want cool summoned pets and crap. I dunno. The thief missions are fun, especially fencing shit from rich houses, I gotta kill someone so I can get into the dark brotherhood too.

You could be both.

Yeah but running around collecting staves and fishing rings out of wells IS kind of lame when you are in your 20s. Thanks for completing the mission, here's your EIGHT gold! Woohoo!!!!!
