Which Computer Case Looks the Best?

Hello party people...

I'm looking at some options for computer cases for our new system coming out and I would like some opinions on what you think looks decent.

I actually have plans to take some of these cases and have a lot of custom work done to them soon, but these are the base units I was going to use for my design.

Every case is made from brushed aluminum or steel. I'm not a fan of chintzy plastic cases for higher end machines.

Thanks for the opinions.

PS If you think all these suck please let me know. If you WOULDN'T buy one of these for yourself that is the most IMPORTANT thing I would like to know. It's amazing how the appearance of a product affects a sale more than anything else in this business.

Don't care much for any of them but I think 2 is the best of the lot. I'm not much in to lights, see through panels etc.

Personally I like #3, but in my experience whats inside is FAR more important then the outside. Whats the layout inside, what material is it made out of. How many damn screws do you need to add/remove to put something in or take it out. Also, do they have enough room for cables in them to allow good airflow.

Neon lights are gay. If you are going to rice out something, go for an old Honda.

I don't want to sway the results on these so I will hold most of my comments until later.

I am concerned mostly with aesthetics on this poll. Which case looks the best and would you buy a computer from that standpoint if it was in one of these cases.

When I made my comp back in october I went with a Lian Li case. They are the highest quality I have ever seen. Internally padded walls for extra quietness, Great airflow, Screwless design (including HDD panels), and over all sleek look. I have two nvidia 6800u cards running and an 800w power supply and it is able to push enough air through to keep the sides of the case cool.

Here is a cheaper version of the case I bought for my friend when I built his and he has been very happy with it also.

Cases 2 & 3 are the best looking in my opinion. However for my next case, I am going to get one the size / shape of a stereo component as it will go underneath my television.

I figure that whatever case gets chosen a good 500-1000 systems hopefully will be sold in that configuration. Whatever I end up using has to be good looking to the end consumer and help generate a sale.

I went with All of these cases look like liquid monkey ass (paraphrasing)
If I were buying a PC based on purly astetics then none of those would be my choices, they are all very bland, I might as well just grab a cardboard box and thow the shit in there.

I like the pretty lights, maybe make them red or green or purple, you know alternate.

I also like the sleekness of case 2.

The feet on case 2 suck much ass.

Case 3 looks too retro.

Case 4 is meh.

One is merely ok.

I really don't like any of them.

The first one has a sleek look to it, very nice design, but the clear side panel and neon has to go.

vote goes to #2

You looking for a perticular size case? What type of people are you aiming for?

ATX or BTX doesn't matter.

My market... Mainstream high end PC users. I am not trying to create an ultra high end boutique PC company that caters only to gamers, the ultra rich and nerds. It needs mass appeal. My biggest competition is Dell's XPS 600 hands down.

Those wild crazy cases that you see over at Cyberpower are totally out of the question IMO.

Eye catching, but sleek I guess is the direction I am going.

I like 3. #1 is a little too ricer even for me.

My vote would be for #1 were it not for the clear panels and neon. It's very sleek styling. If I *had* to choose between the 4 (and honestly I wouldn't choose any of them), I'd pick #2.

Here's my 2 cents, and take it for what it is

I fucking hate pc cases with doors to access the drives

a) because it's one extra peice of shit to fuck around with when i'm shuttling disks to rip in and out

b) it doesn't let you install VFD's, or self contained water cooling kits

Hey Insano, does your company have a website?
