Associating Labatts Beer with Milton from Office Space is tragically wrong.

Anyways, I guess some people will be like me, and play COH now and again. Its not being uninstalled, and I'll play again, but with the weather the way it is, its tough to play anything right now..

Its not like this forum has a plethora of good posts. COH comings and goings are at least relevant and readable.

I'm finished with CoH.

I'm waiting for WoW and EQII.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy my summer, starting with some water-park action this Saturday. If I want to play a video game, I'll play Vice City or Rainbow Six on XBox.

Speaking of Xbox, I just picked up Thief: Dark Shadow. Fun game, and something new to toy with.

I wish Fable was out.

That is if MS doesn't cancel it. They seem to be cancelling a ton of games right now.

Don't think they'd cancel it this close to release. Also, they had it at E3, so I don't think they'd pull the plug on it now (or would they? eep!).

Last I heard it got pushed back from its June release (which was its posted release for about a year) to September.
I was soo looking forward to playing Fable this month.

Front Mission 4 will be out next week though, which is cool, but I would rather it were Fable that was coming out next week.

Fable does look really nice, sadly so did the developer's last work, Black and White.

I want to play Fable, but part of me wants it to be cancelled so that I don't get the dissapointment that Black and White was.

If it gets cancelled now it'll be all your fault. You know that, right? :P

I'm still pissed about the original UO2. Somehow I need someone to blame for that!

Fable is going to kick ass.

I have been having a blast playing 4 player D&D Heroes lately. Not exactly deep but if you crank up the difficulty and get 4 people coop, it definitely keeps you on your toes and is a blast for a couple hours.

Since I hacked my XBox, I have been getting about 5-10 games a month from Gamefly. I just DL the game and send it back the next day. I have so many that I have not even touched yet.

I was under the impression they were just canc'ing mmog's and putting all those eggs into Sigil's basket instead.

D&D Heroes is 15 bucks at EB <resale>. If you think its worthwhile, let me know and I'll nab it, Toss.

I remember the Hack Xbox thread, but not sure what Gamefly is. I'll have to check it out.

Blame Nagi, if you think it will help. I know I'll blame her if Fable gets canned~

Wasn't True Fantasy set for a Japan only release at first? That would have been a mistake for sure but I bet it would have done well here in the states.

Got it for PC.

Had me interested for a few hours but it's really buggy.

It's pretty mindless hack and slash Lyion. It's basically the same type of game as Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance BUT it offers 4 player coop and the difficulty can be cranked up to absurd levels in the multiplayer game. It's definitely worth $15.

I haven't hit any bugs on the Xbox version, but I'm not too far into the game.

Sweet, I'll nab it at EB. I enjoyed Dark Alliance, although not as much as the original BG and BG2.

I hope Fable is as good as it sounds.

Tycho, over at Penny-Arcade, had good things to say about his trial of Fable at E-3, and I tend to agree with his assessments more often than not.

Tycho wrote:I've taken many opportunities to ridicule Fable over the years, largely because I thought it would never actually appear, so it was like making fun of a mythological creature and not really a source of danger. As a result, I haven't taken any time the last few years to hear the appointment-only hyperbolic manifestos that have accompanied the game since it was announced. So, seeing Fable playable out on the floor was like seeing a row of systems, and then a waving dragon, and then another row of systems on the other side. What I played - which is to say, what they chose to show me - was extremely good. Last year was the Year of "X" May Cry, as game after game and developer after developer laid claim to the high-speed, cinematic combat of Devil May Cry. This year was definitely The Year Of The Glow, as soft light permeated many of the games present. Fable really owns it, though - its peculiar, attractive aesthetic absolutely lends itself to a sort of grim fairy tale, which I must admit they have nailed spot on. The combat I was able to play was action oriented, but it was not so fast paced that it got away from you or that each button press lost meaning. Plenty of videos available at the MS site for it, if you'd like to learn more.
