when i move to lincoln, i will be taking my cat :Boots: with me as well as my mom's cat frenchie (aka fatcat). since the big move is just two short weeks away, i decided it'd be a good idea to bring the cats together so they can get used to each other before the move.

it's not going well thus far.

any ideas for getting them to mesh together better, or at least to make it less traumatic? :Boots: seems relatively okay so far, but fatcat is FREAKING OUT. it's making me sad panda :(

Tie their tails together until they either get along or die.

We have two cats. One shy and neurotic and one is real easy going. The shy one still, after like 10 years of living with the cool one, does not get along with him. Some cats are just weird.

cats are just little people with fur and fangs

you can't force them to be pals

i thought for sure this thread was going to be about leah getting pregnant by a black guy...or perhaps a team of black guys freshly released from prison

Cats just need time to become accustomed to another animal in their area.

Just don't force it upon them. Let them keep their distance and it usually works itself out after a few weeks.
