I'm looking for some fresh reading material. Basically, I really enjoy reading about business, finance/investing, psychology/sociology, health/fitness/nutrition, science/technology, and life in general. I guess I'm looking for anything that can teach me something practical and useful. Any suggestions?

Robert Kyosaki's books are good.. "rich Dad Poor dad" , "Retire young retire rich".

Another good book that is very thin, can't remember the author but title is "paralels of the pipeline"

Good to Great by Jim Collins... Its a very interesting book surrounding a huge study on what made average companies turn into giants. It is directly applicable to daily life and a great read.

Also the Guerilla Marketing series is very good.


oh and no pirate is complete without The Asshole's Guide to Handling Chicks.

The Dao of Taijiquan - Jou Tsung Hwa

Both are really worth the time to read.
