To be honest in the last few weeks i've digested about a million GM smokescreens. BC is like the master of misdirection so I don't really know what the hell is going.

All indication (especially with the new assistant GM) is that Bargs is our guy, but I just have this sneaking suspicion that Rudy Gay is the guy. He's the only one BC has never said a word about. Plus wouldn't that Jersey sell like crazy in Canada?

I read a really credible remour (credible because I called it last year) that Chicago is trading the 2nd pick (thanks NY), which has been promised to TT, to Minny with Gordon and possible Chandler or Sweatney with a future 1st for Garnett.

I have a feeling (and it's mostly just optimism) that BC is trying to make a deal with Memphis for Gasol. If we don't theirs a rumour that PHO has Matrix on the block for a pick that could net them Bargs.

I was talking to Snero about the draft yesterday and this is my feeling. I trust BC enough so that who ever he takes on draft night, or whatever move he makes, I know it will be the right one (or I'll assume it is till it becomes clear). Of all the players he COULD chose I think Aldridge has the most possibility IF he's not Mark Blount in disguise (we already have one named Loren Woods).

I think if we keep the pick it's gonna be one of Gay Bargs and Aldridge, pretty much without a doubt.

I don't think any of that makes sense but hey, I'm in like information overload.

I don't really agree with where he has all the players classified but thats pretty interesting.

I don't really see the raps trading the pick for a star like marion or gasol although i would love to land gasol.

I'm totally lost as to who the raps would pick, I think bargnani still but they're trying to make it seem like they may take others to try and improve their odds of being able to trade the pick to a team who wants aldridge or gay or morrison and pick up a lower pick and still get bargs

Is there any rumbling about the mavs liking somebody in particular?

The Warriors should draft a center that can actually play.

Some warrior fans are actually deluded enough to think Biedrins is a star in the making.

When was the last time the Warriors actually had a GOOD draft? There been a single one post-Nellie? Not that I'm giving Nellie a pass, his fire sale of Chris Webber marks the point at which the Warriors achieved world-class suckdom.

2001 was good when they got Richardson, Murphy, and Arenas.

Murphy I'm not so sold on. Richardson is decent. Arenas is good, but they let him walk, so it doesn't matter much.

At least the guy had the Warriors picking a center.

He's got Rodney Carney as F/C. I wouldn't put too much stock into that mock.

Top two are most likely accurate though.

I think it'll be more like gay morrison aldridge rather then roy morrison williams

Avery LOVES likes Josh Boone from UConn... he's a hard worker that would fit well with Avery's system. Dropping all the way to 28 would be a HUGE upset though.

It seems that SEVERAL websites are pegging Marcus Vinicius on us. That's cool... he seems like a good shooter who can defend well. Another Marquis Daniels it seems. I'd just really hope for another PF if we are losing KVH.

Where's the Dark?

So, I'm pretty thrilled with the draft...

We needed a shutdown 1on1 defender who has a decent offensive game. We totally got that in Ager. He was thrilled to be picked by Dallas but was also very confident in what he plans on bringing us. Avery loves players with multiple years of college under them... shows that they are 'coachable'. He said that he was a 'steal' at 28 but was hoping that Dallas would pick him because he feels so at home watching their games. Avery agreed, said that they felt the same way in watching Maurice play. He'll fit right in.

Nelson told reporters two days ago there was a 0% chance that any player chosen would get playing time this year.

No surprises from Toronto. Was kinda anti-climactic.

At least the Warriors drafted a couple of centers. Now we have to see if these guys can play.
