Guildwars is free to play.
It's not THAT bad. It's like a cheap D2 clone that kinda sucks.

If you like Diablo 2 but you're tired of it then get Dungeon Siege 2. It's almost all the same mechanics with a few new things and pretty graphics. I got the torrent not too long ago so I'm sure there's one up somewhere.

SACRED is a prettier version of Diablo 2. I liked it a alot when I played it. They ripped a lot of D2 features off, which is a good thing for us.

we actually tried this. first of all we wanted to use hamachi to avoid using thier servers, but it seems they dont want people run hamachi so we couldnt use any patches and had to go a long about way of starting the game.
Plus, after about 4 hours of playing straight we decided to save. When we reentered it all looked fine so played another 4 hours. When we entered again none of the world was saved, waypoints ect, but our characters were. So we decided f it we can run through the greeen mobs to get back where we were. Then when we saved it did the same thing. Updated our chars but no the world. So we said F it. Its to bad too, we where really having fun.

I never found anybody to play it with tbh. If it's anything like the first one, I don't think games get saved on their network. If you can do TCP/IP you might be able to. Still a fun game to play single player anyway. It saves everything then.

I thought in the dungeon siege games when you start a new one you can select what way point to start at from all the ones you've opened up before you actually enter the game?

When playing multiplayer games with my buddy after we exited our characters would save but we would have to go through the story again. Its bogus. If they implimented the save system that D2 had it would have been a good game.

If you guys have PSP's you can get the new Untold Legends: Warrior's Code.
It's a fun hack and slasher that you can team up co-op over wi-fi.

I only ever played DS1, but I'm positive in a multiplayer game you could (after selecting which "story" to go through) select a waypoint to begin at. Why did they change that?

I was looking into that for my personal use but decided to wait and get DS because FFIII remake coming out in the fall. Also, we live about 2k miles apart so internet is a must.
