Today is July 13th.
My baby is officially 4 months old today, is the size of a 1 year old at 20 pounds and 2 feet long, and he just cut his first tooth this morning.
He is truly following in his daddy's footsteps.
Pray for me and my future grocery bills ><

The enormous size of your baby is due to global warming.

My youngest was the same way, not THAT big, but still big for his age. He grew into it quickly after he started walking/running. Now he is a skinny minny and very tall.

Hah! I knew it!!!
This one is going to be tall too, but I don't think he'll be as skinny as his big brother. He's built like Jj with a barrel chest, huge thighs, and very strong. He can already sit up by himself ><

You calling your husband a fatty?

No. He is massively built, as per his viking heritage. Even when he was super skinny (6'5" 190lbs at age 19), he wasn't skinny. His shoulder span is easily twice yours =P

Well woman, if you knew it, perhaps you should have kept him indoor next to the AC, then may be he wouldn't be gigantor.

My lack of judgement was the result of global warming!

wow 20 lbs!!! Our little guy goes in on the 24th for his 4 month check up. He's been on the tall side since he was born so i'm curious to find out where he's at. He's like his daddy, tall and skinny or "a tall drink of water" as everyone else keeps telling me. He was only 6 lbs 8 oz. @ birth but managed to jump up to almost 11 lbs @ his 2 month appt. so is doing well though.
He's been rolling front to back since about 5 1/2 weeks though and doing the back to front rolls since last month. Plus he's moving himself all over the floor - on his back he pushes with his legs and moves himself everywhere. On the tummy he inchworms with his legs under his tummy and shoves himself forward. We are convinced he's going to crawl early and walk early. He's been wanting to walk with our hands under his arms since his 2 month appt. and the ped. looked at us then said "you are in trouble when he gets mobile".
He's really starting to be such a goof to watch at 4 months.
Do you guys have an exersaucer or jumper thing yet? Those are such a kick to watch him in!!! Plus, the bumbo seat is fun to put him in also.
awwww ..I honestly can say they grow to fast now that I have one of my own!!!
hugs

Yeah as long as your barbaric mommy doesn't leave you be to fall dead asleep in your little jumper, and then snaps pictures of you dangling midair with your toes barely brushing the ground and your little head almost curled onto your chest as you snooze.
Thanks mom!

Maybe he'll be lucky and this abnormal growth will affect his penis.

No worries Jay. Even at 4 months, I can assure you that his package significantly dwarfs your micro pencil-dicked asian manmeat.

Nice burn but you're wrong. I've got 2 inches of raw power.

Oh my goodness! I think your pediatrician is right

; he defintely sounds like he's going to be an early walker (runner? My first
still doesn't "walk").
Yep, we have a "Johnny Jump Up" attached to the doorframe where he can jump as much as he wants.
He laughs himself silly jumping around like a little frog. I so love these first real belly laughs.
Brayson sounds like such a happy, healthy baby! They do grow too fast. I hope you are taking lots and LOTS of pictures

Are you going to adopt or expecting another immaculate conception?
