OK i got my laptop

It should be here tomorrow, just had a few questions..
Firefox v IE : Everyone says go firefox, why, just wanted to know what so much better about it compared to IE.
nevermind, only one question =P haha

there's not a lot of difference between IE and firefox
the tabbed browsing is nice though

The latest version of IE has tabbed browsing. cong ie catching up 6+ years later!

IE7 isn't horrible but I personally still prefer firefox. I do however have IE7 and firefox running on my laptop when booted into windows. Some sites designed for IE do just look and work better IE, and with IE7 I prefer to view them in IE then Firefox.

mmm okay, and i remembered my other question, what is the best way to not kill the batery life on your laptop's batery? Like when should you charge it and for how long and all that jive.

if you're on battery, run it till it's dead (or the warning to plug it in pops up)
then charge it to full, run it on battery, etc etc
don't be one of the dipshits that runs it for an hour, then plugs it in and charges it back up to full
