I didn't know David Gilmour rode motorcycles.

Actually, he more than likely would have died w/o the helmet. I see these all the time. A helmet saves your head. It does not keep you from getting minor lac's and abrasions. This guy's injuries are not even serious.

Motocycles are cool, but you'll never see me on one. It's me I don't trust... it's the dip shit, stupid ass soccor mom with her cell phone glued to her ear while driving an SUV so big she can barly see over the wheel or reach the peddles.

My girlfriend and I were watching TV in bed last week at about 12:30 AM and from the street below I hear a cop on a megaphone say "stay tight, the paramedics are on their way". Naturally I got up to see what the comotion was about and it was a pretty dramatic scene. There was a guy laying in the middle of the road. Some chick was holding a rag to his head. There was liquid all over the ground, I couldnt tell if it was blood or fluid that spilled from his bike that was laying next to him. There were a lot of people standing around, freaking out. Some girl was screaming and crying and people were holding her back. It didnt look like that bad an accident, at a closer glance it looked like his foot was pretty twisted up so I thought it was broken.

Yesterday I found out leg his let was actually detached. An SUV hit him at 45 MPH and his leg took the brunt of the force from the bumper. It shattered the bone and when he fell off the bike he rolled like 10 times and the force of the roll tore off the leg below the knee. it had been laying in the middle of the road and someone picked it up and placed it where it should of been. He's an off duty cop too. Welcome to the "desk job."

A couple of dipshit kids from my school were riding around last week and almost t-boned me. I was in my car pulling out onto the road where there is this big hill to your left and all flat to the right, so I checked left first and it was clear, checked right, clear, and started to go, just then the two assholes came up the hill on their bikes going 80 mph and almost hit me so they flipped me off as they passed.

This week, one of them hit a car in the same place for the same reason, I should go to the hospital and flip him off.

And educate them on how the transmitting of diseases works!

Hate to be a stickler, but not everybody drives a big rig for a living and this stuff is not quite work safe material for those with office jobs.

I used to have a powerpoint presentation of a military guy in japan who was driving his motorcycle drunk and got caught under a 5-ton that was moving at 50 miles per hour... It literally shredded him... Arms, legs, head, brains all torn to shreads and splattered everywhere.

God it was the coolest powerpoint ever.
