So, I finally give in and go out and buy a PS II (sitting next to the Xbox now)...

I pick up a game called Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War.

Not a bad game I must say.

Does anyone know of a another PS II fighter pilot type game? I like either the 3rd person, or 1st person view - nothing "unrealistic" though. Meaning, I don't like fighter pilot games when you're in an F 15 firing off lasers and nonsense like that.

I wouldn't call Ace Combat realistic. While it's a little more mechanically accurate than Raiden Fighters it's no flight simulator.

Well, I used "realistic" lightly... I don't mean as in sim quality... I mean realistic in that if I'm in an F18 Hornet I don't expect to be shooting lightning bolts out of the wings, or any bullshit like that. 99 missiles is a bit much, yeah - but they're missiles - not lasers or some other stupid shit. That's what I meant.

Ok so I spoke too soon.

Seems game developers can't help themselves with their retarded ideas.

The goes along quite nicely till the very end. And, what do they do? You guessed it - give a fucking laser to the last guy you have to fight.

Why? Why can't they just leave well enough alone?

Why do they have to fuck up an otherwise decent game with some stupid bullshit.
