Quote from Dan Wetzel's article that made me lol.

"The sad part is this can't even be a surprise to anyone paying attention. At this stage of the game, winning the Tour de France without doping seems about as plausible as taking the checkered flag at Daytona behind the wheel of a four-cylinder Prius. Word that a cycling champ is a cheat is less shocking than the revelation that Lance Bass is gay."

What cracks me up more than anything though is ESPN running that special about his family being so pure and straight laced ultra cult baptists or whatever they are, and now they're like..."durrrrr...."

According to Landis, his unusual testosterone level is a ‘natural occurrence’. It's the result of his natural metabolism and not doping of any kind

I thought he said it was from medication for a thyroid condition.

Bet they come up with a few more reasons too.

The French just can't stand the fact that Americans dominate the Tour De France.

I didn't hear about any of this during his denial press conference.

It's in the article that's the first post in this thread.

LOL yeah right. Armstrong was tested several times, even by the wacky French "Physicians," and he came back clean. Maybe the French should partake only in sports they can handle, like Croquet or something.

I bet you they could be the most badass flag waving team in the world.

NY Times reports that the tests show that some of the testosterone in Landis’ system was synthetic and not naturally produced by his body as he claimed.

Consider the source.

Landis' backup doping sample also tested positive . The International Cycling Union said that the test of the "B" sample confirmed the initial test.

The cyclist's samples contained synthetic testosterone, indicating his elevated levels were not produced naturally.

Probably a tainted sample. I'd like to see who was in control of the chain-of-custody of his blood sample.

Lance only got away with it because he only had one testicle.
