what's the deal with this myspace shit anyhoo?


i started building a bit of a page for shitz and giggles, and i don't really see the attraction about it?


that and i have no fucking clue how to make my site cool


help on both counts omg

to add a song, just find a bands page you like, click 'add song' next to song.

As far as layouts go, Im useless at them too, but luckily people have done lots of them already. Just google for them, then cut and paste where you need to. In one of those sections I forget youll find instructions.

Add friends and voila you are fully myspace equipped.

the song thing was the one thing that was intuitive =\

Try to embellish your site with some codes from here:

I used it to type in the first and last names of people I hadn't seen in a long time. High school friends and such. If you care to see any old friends that's what I think it's good for. Otherwise unless you're on a mission to contract an STD it's not really that cool.

Oh, you have a whole set of friends already if you add the NT peeps.

EDIT: Myspace music is pretty cool if you have diverse musical tastes.

You use it to meet people. Ranging from looking up people you've lost contact with, new friends/relations, business potentials, ect. That's really what it's about.

If you aren't interested in that (aka - if you're someone like me :P), the site holds very little allure.

It's nice to look at pictures of friends you haven't seen in a long time. Especially in my situation where my friends are literally all over the world.

Reason its so big its because its another tool on how to keep in touch with people

IMO it's better than email. I hope they include more features to the 'email' aspect of it in the future.

It's essentially a page builder for dummies, a personals site, and a entertainment promotion forum all rolled into one.

I created a page for fun, but the site doesn't appeal to me. The pages there are way too busy and I am a simple, speedy command line type of guy, who isn't into gaudy things and I don't need to meet skank ho's like Diekan.
