Linksys blows my nuts

I just bought a new linksys wireless router, and it won't work with my inspiron e1505 that I just bought new as well. So I tried using a non-wireless linksys router, that didn't work either.

But my mom's Belcra? Belcor? Whatever the fuck its called, worked perfectly.

How can I get it so that linksys will work with my laptop? =/

the problem is you don't know what you're doing

your wireless card is probably associated wtih the belkin atm, and you need to do a site survey and look for the linksys

ps, which linksys router did you get?

No. My mom and her friend both tried to get it to work and my computer WILL NOT read the linksys, plugged in or no. And neither of their laptops could use the wireless on the router only by plugging them in.

it's because your home network is 192.168.0.x, while linksys defaults to 192.168.1.x

E1505 will work with Linksys. Make sure your linksys wireless is turned on.
