can't get to www.newegg.com

I can hit every other website in the world, but can't get to newegg at all from home

I can ping it np
can tracert np
np surfing there from work, just can't from home (firefox or ie)

any ideas?

still nothing

only thing I can think of is that the IP, or range of IP's that I'm on has for some reason been banned for the website?

weird that I can ping it np tho

May have just firewalled port 80 from your IP/IP Block. Though I would expect if they wer egoing to block, they would blokc everything not just port 80.

i can ping http://www.newegg.com though, so it can't be a dns issue

are there any other tech/sales websites with good filtering engines like newegg?

i'm trying to narrow down specs on a laptop to buy, but most other sites are fucking pains

Why not just use a proxy to get you there for doing your searches. Wont help you with ordering anything but atleast you would be able to access the site
