The Colts are a flash team. Meat and potato teams who run the football and control the clock usually beat flash teams, all things considered and talent be similar. It's why Belichik keeps whipping Peyton despite half his secondary usually being picked up off the waiver wire.

The problem is the NFL likes the flash, and keeps changing the rules more and more so that the old school NFL will soon be a thing of the past, just like the old school NBA currently is. Pretty soon I expect QBs to be wearing flags, and not being allowed to be hit.
